A Week in Auschwitz on Tumblr, and 100th Blog

If there were more hours in the day, I would be able to write many more blogs and generally keep content fresh. As it stands, however, I have not been able to blog as much as I'd like to since the start of the year (although that may change soon, as I have finished lectures until September). To compensate, however, I've come up with something of a middle ground which means I can post more frequently, without the length of a blog.

I have created a Tumblr account for 'A Week in Auschwitz'; you can find it at www.aweekinauschwitz.tumblr.com. I aim to post a photograph related to the Holocaust every day (providing that I have access to the Internet, which is not always the case when I am away from home). Ideally the photograph will be linked to an event that happened on the same date, but of course, this is not always possible. If I cannot find any significant event for that day, I will post a more thought-provoking photo of an aspect of the Holocaust, whether from the time itself or contemporary commemoration.

If you have suggestions and you have a Tumblr account, please do feel free to comment, or let me know via this blog. All input would be greatly appreciated, and I hope all readers find the content interesting.

Furthermore, I'm pleased to announce that this post is my 100th blog! Again, it hasn't been published as soon as I would have liked, but the fact that I'm still writing means that people are still reading my posts! A big thank you to everyone who visits the blog, whether it be once or regularly. Knowing that people are interested in a topic so close to my heart really does spur me on.
